The West Salem Lacrosse Team started in 2002 and has been the defending North Valley Conference Champions for 11 seasons since 2009.
Titans Lacrosse is a no-cut sport. We take all male students regardless of skill or lacrosse experience. Titans Lacrosse is a proud ambassador for the fastest growing high school sport in the United States and a member of the Oregon High School Lacrosse Association.
The club offers Varsity and Junior Varsity teams depending on the number and skills of student athletes joining the team. Our coaches see lacrosse training, practice, and games as a vehicle to instill in our young men values like commitment, class, toughness, and trust.
While lacrosse is growing rapidly, it is still considered a non-sanctioned, high school sport in Oregon. As a result, the Salem-Keizer School District offers no support for any of our local high school lacrosse teams. Each club must buy their own gear, arrange their own transportation, and pay for officiating and field access.
To succeed and thrive the Titans rely on families to purchase equipment, club dues, fundraising, and the generous support of community sponsors to cover each season’s expenses. While difficult at times, this added responsibility gives players the opportunity to learn other valuable life and leadership lessons off the field, while pursuing greatness on the field.
